About Us

ShandaGlass Jewellery specializes in designing and selling beautiful jewellery for infants, children, and teens.  We hold high standards of safety and durability. For example, our artists use completely lead safe materials like glass beads, stainless steel wire, sterling silver and pewter.  We also use high quality materials to ensure the jewellery's durability.   After all, children may be a little rougher on a decorative glass bracelet than an older sibling or parent.

For special occasions, birthdays, portraits and simple expressions of love, a ShandaGlass creation is a perfect gift and keepsake that should last a lifetime.  For a closer look at our jewellery, simply take a few minutes to explore the other pages on our site.

We launched ShandaGlass Jewellery in 2008 in Ottawa, Canada's Capital.  Vacations for our family became a quest to find quality beaded bracelets for our daughter, Isabelle.  Specifically, we looked for bracelets that were produced using quality products that would not break within one week of purchase.  We also wanted jewellery that we felt safe allowing our child to wear and play with.  Specifically, we were looking for a guarantee of Lead Safe.  We were unable to find such products.

Our head designer has a passion for glass and use of glass beads seemed a natural fit.  They are elegant, beautiful, and strong enough to stand up to a child's rough play.  Also we determined that the use of AccuFlex coated stainless steel beading wire was guaranteed not to break like other materials.  Finally, the use of quality jewellery findings and sterling silver gave a sophisticated elegance to our designer bracelets.

We pride ourselves on quality and customer satisfaction.
